Pat and his Flamingos
As you can see in the photo, it’s Halloween, that day when Jack Skellington’s brother Pat harnesses up his team of flamingos to bring lots of horrible gifts to all the bad little ghouls and banshees.
It’s also time for us to announce the publication of our new short story “Love at Stake” about a lonely vampire who tries online dating. He’s found the perfect undead beauty, but is she too good to be true? “Love at Stake” is an urban fantasy with some mature themes and language plus season-appropriate blood and gore. To celebrate the release of this terrific tale of terror, we have made it available for free download from Amazon this Tuesday through Thursday, October 31st through November 2nd.
Of course, we haven’t forgotten our primary focus, steampunk! We are in the final stages of formatting the manuscript for the print edition of Professor Ione D and the Epicurean Incident. You may recall that this was published in e-book form in late May of this year. Though e-books are wonderful, we have a special place in our hearts for real, physical books, which is why we are including 20 exclusive illustrations in the print edition. We expect it to be available by mid-November.
